ANNOUNCEMENTS

Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! We hope everyone is getting settled into the new routine that a school year brings.

Friends of West Sylvan is excited for the great things we have planned this year. We will continue with our free Pack Parties, First Friday Staff Lunches and supporting our students through our West Sylvan Cares program. There is much more that we do, so if you are interested in learning more, please read here.

We are currently recruiting for new FoWS Board members - specifically some who may be interested in taking over FoWS. Almost all of of us are 8th grade parents who will be moving on and in order for FoWS to continue to provide support to WSMS, we will need some new parents/guardians to step in! Coffee with the Principal - September 9th

Join us on September 9th at 10 a.m. in the West Sylvan library for Coffee with the Principal! Dr. Jill Hunt, along with others from the Administration and Counseling Office, will be available to talk about all things West Sylvan, answer any questions you may have and help you connect with volunteer opportunities.

First Friday Lunches Return - October 4th

Are you looking for an easy way to get involved at West Sylvan? Being part of the First Friday lunch committee is a great way to spend some time in the school while showing our amazing teachers and staff how much they are appreciated. We need 2-3 people to step into this role in order to keep this much-loved tradition alive!
