WSMS FUNdraising Week October 19-25th

We are looking for prize donations for the students. Gift cards to favorite tween/teen places like Starbucks, Dutch Bros, Sephora and Target, tickets to games, passes for places like Big Al's and KingPins or movies theaters and other fun things are great. Please contact hi@friendsofwestsylvan.org if you can donate anything. Donations can be dropped to the Front Office, attn: Fun Run, Walk & Roll.

More details about the event coming soon!

Clothes Closet - Items Needed

The West Sylvan Clothes Closet is a resource for all students. We keep a supply of pants, shirts, sweatshirts, shoes, underwear and socks along with grooming supplies for any student who needs it. Currently we need the following items - new or gently used:

*Sweatpants in XL

*Sweatpants in XXL

*T-Shirts in L

*T-Shirts in XL

*T-Shirts in XXL

*Clean, gently used or new shoes in all sizes. (Nike and adidas are popular items - but anything your own child would wear is great!)

Items can be dropped off to the Front Desk at West Sylvan - just note Clothes Closet on the item/bag.

Financial donations to West Sylvan Cares are also happily accepted so we can purchase needed items.

Student Calming Space

With the goal of improving the mental health of West Sylvan students, two brilliant minds from our West Sylvan 8th grade are on a mission to create a tranquil haven, a Calming Room, as part of their MYP project. This project was started last spring and we are getting closer to the finish line but they can't do it alone! We need your generous support to bring their vision to life. Click on the Amazon Wish List to contribute, and don't hesitate to reach out to Mr. Almeida (ralmeida@pps.net) if you have any questions or ideas. Thanks for supporting our students!
